Parent groups vow to fight on for PPSMI

PETALING JAYA: Concerned parents of various groups met on Sunday to discuss the actions they would take in their fight for the reinstatement of the teaching of Maths and Science in English (PPSMI).

"First, we will hold a gathering to display our anger and anguish," said Concerned Parents Selangor (CPS) coordinator Shamsudin Hamid.

Other groups planned to present their pleas to the Sultan in their respective states, with a final plea to be presented to the King.

"Candidates who are going to stand for elections in the Klang Valley should speak up and we will give them our votes," said parent Johan Tun Abdullah, who was also present at the meeting.
