QL Resources Q2 earnings dip 3% to RM36.8mil

KUALA LUMPUR: QL Resources Bhd's earnings slipped 3% to RM36.86mil in the second quarter ended Sept 30, 2012 from RM38mil a year ago due to higher finance costs.

It said on Tuesday its revenue rose 11.5% to RM552.45mil from RM495.18mil while earnings per share were 4.43 sen compared with 4.57 sen.

For the first half, its earnings increased by 3.8% to RM68.29mil from RM65.79mil in the previous corresponding period while its revenue was 10.2% higher at RM1.046bil from RM949.75mil.
