Ku Li urges Orang Asli to continue supporting BN

GUA MUSANG: Gua Musang MP Tengku Razaleigh Hamzah praised the Orang Asli for remaining loyal to and supportive of Barisan Nasional at every general election.

He said this indicated that the Orang Asli were united in deciding the fate of their future and had confidence in the BN government to continue to implement programmes like what they had been enjoying so far.

"We hope the Orang Asli will continue to support BN, especially in preparing for the 13th general election to be held soon," he said at the presentation of aid to the Orang Asli community at Pos Brooke here.

Tengku Razaleigh, who is Gua Musang Umno division chief, advised the Orang Asli not to fall to promises made by "outsiders".

"Outsiders who come here may have other intentions, but I believe the Orang Asli have their own stand and are able to evaluate wisely the promises they made," he added.

He said they should remain united to continue to enjoy the benefits from the BN government. - Bernama
