SIX types of loans, open to all races, will be introduced during a talk by Koperasi Jayadiri Malaysia Berhad (Kojadi) at the Red Rock Hotel in Penang on Oct 28.

Kojadi director Datuk Dr Loh Hock Hun said the loan schemes included Kojadi Loan Scheme, 1MCA Education Loan Scheme, 1MCA Micro Credit Scheme for Youth, Kojadi Members Benevolence Scheme, Small Retailers Transformation Programme (TUKAR) and Automative Workshop Modernisation Programme (ATOM).

Co-organised by Tanjung MCA, the talk is aimed at introducing the schemes to Penangites, he said.

“The loans are open to all races. However, there are not many applications from Penang, especially for the TUKAR and ATOM schemes.

“We believe there are many people who need the loans but they do not realise that they can apply to the MCA,” he told a press conference yesterday at the Red Rock Hotel.

The talk will be held at the hotel’s auditorium room on the third floor at 2pm.

Bukit Gelugor MCA division chairman Datuk Koay Kar Huah, who was also present, encouraged the public to attend the talk, especially students who needed education loans and youths who planned to start their own business.

Application counters will be set up at the hotel on that day.
