Malaysia. A dash of colour: Dashing is organising the first neon futsal competition in Malaysia.

FUTSAL lovers can now play the game in darkness, illuminated only by neon lights.

Dashing, a leading men’s toiletries brand, is going to make futsal a lot more exciting with the first ever Neon Futsal tournament dubbed Dashing Cabaran Skor.

In this challenging contest, futsal will be played under neon lights with players wearing neon sportswear to make them glow.

With everything from ball to the jerseys and goalpost in neon glow, it will surely be a unique experience for the players.

Wipro Unza (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd senior general manager Christina Yong said futsal was a sport loved by a majority of Malaysian men, and the company wanted to bring this fascinating game to its consumers with a fun and challenging twist.

“The concept of Neon Futsal allows them to showcase their confidence, a quality that Dashing stands for,” she said.

This nationwide tournament will have four regional playoffs in Kuala Lumpur, Kluang, Kuala Terenganu and Pulau Pinang in November.

Each regional winner get to be a part of the grand finale on Dec 8 in Kuala Lumpur vying for prizes worth more than RM20,000.

Apart from a cash reward of RM7,000, the highlight of the top prize is a trip to ESPN studio in Singapore.

Recruitment for the teams begins this month. To register, purchase RM200 worth of Dashing products and fill in the registration forms, which can be obtained from Dashing promoter girls, Dashing mobile trucks and the DashingForMen page on Facebook.

The registration forms can be submitted with proof of purchase to the Dashing promoter girls, email with proof of purchase copies to cabaranskordashing@gmail.com or by mail. Each team has to consist of seven players.
