Lights and flowers at Putrajaya

COLOURFUL floats decorate the Putrajaya Lake in Precinct 2 during the 1Malaysia International Tourism Night Floral Parade 2011.

The parade featuring 14 floats is held every night till Sunday and is open to the public.

Themed “Magic of the Night”, it was organised by the Tourism Ministry and showcased boats decorated with colourful lights and designs based on flora and fauna.

Grand: Float from Tourism Malaysia.

The boat parade starts at 8.30pm, followed by a five-minute fireworks display at 9.30pm.

There were 13 participants from Brunei, Malacca, Perlis, Terengganu, Perak, Resort World Genting, AirAsia, and YTL Berhad.

The event is held in conjunction with the Floria Putrajaya which displays the best of the Malaysia’s landscape designs and as well as parks and gardens.

All lit up: Fireworks display are on at 9.30pm.

Visitors can also enjoy the night scenes of Putrajaya and its architecture such as the Sultan Mizan Mosque and bridges.
