HIV/AIDS couples must use condoms and not have children: PAS rep

KOTA BARU: Don’t fall in love with an HIV/AIDS person. And if you do, don’t have children, said Kelantan state Women and Family Development and Health Committee chairman Wan Ubaidah Omar on Monday.

She suggested that married couples with HIV/AIDS use condoms to avert having children with the disease.

"My other advice is not to fall in love with anyone suffering from the disease," she told the State Assembly Monday.

She said this in response to a supplementary question by Dr Nik Mazian Nik Mahmood (PAS-Gaal) on the matter. - Bernama
