Pos Malaysia opens 100th retail outlet

PETALING JAYA: Pos Malaysia opened its 100th retail outlet, at Tropicana City Mall, Damansara Utama, here on Thursday.

Chief executive officer Datuk Syed Faisal Albar said the new outlet was part of Pos Malaysia’s expansion plan to provide customers in the Damansara Utama area access to its products and services at a strategic location.

”Our network retail outlets are indeed very extensive and are located in both rural and urban areas.

“Opening more outlets at shopping malls will enable Pos Malaysia to get closer to its customers, and provide them with the convenience of performing their transactions while doing their shopping,” he said.

Syed Faisal, who is also Pos Malaysia’s group managing director, said Selangor had the largest number of outlets.

PosNiaga chief operating officer Datuk Mearia Hamzah opened the outlet. It will be open from 10am to 6pm daily except on the first Saturday of the month, Sundays and public holidays.

The outlet provides both retail and postal services, including payment of bills, ASNB and JPJ transactions, posting convenience for normal mail, PosLaju, registered mail and other postal items, remittance, as well as sale of stamps and philatelic items. -- Bernama
