First ‘Idol’ Kelly Clarkson coming to KL

PETALING JAYA: Kelly Clarkson, American Idol’s first ever winner, is coming to town.

She is scheduled to perform at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil on April 25, as part of her All I Ever Wanted World Tour.

Her concert comes on the heels of a recent performance by last year’s Idol winner, Kris Allen,

Clarkson, who won the reality show in its debut season in 2002, went on to release four studio albums that spawned hits like Miss Independent, Breakaway and My Life Would Suck Without You, sold 25 million copies worldwide and garnered her two Grammy awards.

The concert is organised by the Galaxy Group, and ticket sales will commence on Feb 19 at its office and ticket counter in Sungei Wang Plaza, Kuala Lumpur.

Tickets are priced at RM338, RM288, RM238, RM188, RM138 and RM98. For more information, call the Galaxy hotline at (03) 2282-2020.
