Bangkok Bank branch opens in Auto-City

BANGKOK Bank Bhd opened its third branch in Auto-City, Juru, Penang, today and will set up another in Klang by the end of the year.

Besides Penang, the bank also opened two other branches in Jalan Bakri, Muar, and Taman Molek, Johor Baru, in April.

“The opening of four branches in 2010 is Bangkok Bank’s thrust towards offering excellent and personalised services to customers in line with the bank’s vision to be the leading foreign bank in Malaysia,” the bank said in a press release.

Bangkok Bank was one of the pioneer foreign banks to enter Malaysia more than 50 years ago.

Since then, the bank has enhanced its products and services, growing alongside customers and partnering them to success.

The statement said Bangkok Bank would continue to offer a full range of quality commercial banking products for corporate clients, including trade finance, working capital financing, term financing, project financing, bumiputra business banking and special financing packages.

“The bank also provides retail banking services including savings account, current account, fixed deposit, foreign currency fixed deposit, money market deposit, and negotiable instruments of deposits and remittance.

“We stand by our customers, develop long-term relationships with them and most importantly, make an effort to understand customers’ needs,” it said.
