All is well with Pahang royal family

ROMPIN: The seven Pahang royal family members admitted to the Tengku Ampuan Afzan Hospital for Influenza A(H1N1) are expected to be discharged today.

The Tengku Mahkota Pahang, Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah, said he was informed by the hospital that his wife, Tengku Puan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah Sultan Iskandar, his five children and sister-in-law Tunku Mariam Zaharah Sultan Iskandar have recovered.

Alhamdulillah (Thank Allah) that they have recovered and are in good health again. The hospital officials told me that they would be out on Tuesday,” he said.

Last Friday all of his five children were admitted after testing positive for the flu, following which his wife Tunku Azizah and sister in-law were also admitted.

“I would also like to say my appreciation and thanks to every body who prayed for my family’s good health, and also to the hospital staff who cared for them,” Tengku Abdullah added.
