Jom Heboh hits Kuantan

KUANTAN: It was carnival time again as the annual Jom Heboh programme organised by TV3 took of at the MPK2 field here recently.

Among the activities were autograph-signing and photo-taking with TV3 celebrities, performances by local singers, games and contests.

“This is the second year we are attending the carnival as a family,” said Suwardi Shahidan, 31, who came with his wife and one-year-old son.

Wholesome fun: There were games for children at the carnival booths in Kuantan.

“We love the party atmosphere and the activities. It is a great outing,” he said.

Another visitor, Mahfod Jurimi, 52, found the Haunted House exciting.

“I’ve been coming to the carnival with my family over the years. They love Jom Heboh and enjoy the games and contests,” he said.

One of the main attractions was the appearance of Cicak Man, who was immediately surrounded by fans who wanted to have a photograph taken with him.

In all, the visitors had a good time, the food and beverage stall operators enjoyed brisk business and the organiser successful held a Jom Heboh for another year.
