Veterans Ing Hock and Chin Sing lead Malaysia to narrow win over Indonesia

All smiles: (from left) Hong Chin Sing, Chee Chaoming and Ting Ing Hock celebrating with the gold medals after winning the T9 men’s team table tennis at the Malaysia Trade and Exhibition Centre yesterday.

IN the end it was experience that led to Malaysia clinching the T9 (mild impairment affecting the legs or the playing arm) men’s team table tennis gold in the Kuala Lumpur Asean Para Games.

Ting Ing Hock, 52, and Hong Chin Sing, 49, played a crucial role in guiding 20-year-old Chee Chaoming to beat Indonesia 3-2 in their final round-robin match at the Malaysia Trade and Exhibition Centre (MiTEC) yesterday.
