Christian will be youngest Malaysian to play in Davis Cup


Christian Didier Chin showed why he is the hottest local tennis player in the country with a stunning run into the final in the National Circuit’s Penang Open at Penang CRC Sports Complex.

PETALING JAYA: Christian Didier Chin (pic) will become the youngest player to represent Malaysia in the Davis Cup next week.

But the 16-year-old will not play in the Aug 19-30 Kuala Lumpur SEA Games as he wants to focus on qualifying for the main draw of the US Open Junior Tennis Championships in New York from Sept 4-11.
