Su-Wei misses chance to be doubles No. 1


KUALA LUMPUR: Petite Hsieh Su-wei let slip a chance of becoming the world No. 1 doubles player but that did not wipe the smile off her face.

On Friday, the Taiwanese lost in her doubles match with Jarmila Gajdosova of Australia when they were beaten 3-6, 3-6 by top seeds Timea Babos-Chan Hao-ching from Hungary and Taiwan in the semi-finals of the BMW Malaysian Open at the Royal Selangor Golf Club here.
