KUALA LUMPUR: Slovakian Dominika Cibulkova, the Australian Open runner-up, will headline a strong cast for the BMW Malaysian Open tennis championships at the Royal Selangor Golf Club (RSGC) here from April 14-20.
Seven-time Grand Slam champion Venus Williams of the United States has also confirmed her participation. Williams was scheduled to play last season but withdrew as she was down with Sjogren’s syndrome, an autoimmune disease. The former world No. 1 is back at her best now, having won the Dubai Open last month.
