PETALING JAYA: Welson Sim (pic) failed in his mission to beat the Olympic qualifying A time in the 400m freestyle at the World Aquatics Championships in Gwangju, South Korea.
Welson, who has been training in Melbourne since the start of the year to prepare for the Olympic mission, posted 3:52.85 to be placed 24th out of 46 swimmers in the heats.
