(Reuters) - Britain's Adam Peaty broke his own world record in the 50 metres breaststroke on Tuesday, swimming 26.10 seconds in the heats at the world swimming championships in Budapest.
Peaty, also the 100m Olympic champion and world record holder, shaved .32 seconds off the 26.42 he swam at the last world championships in Kazan in 2015.
