KUALA LUMPUR: Youngster Nur Dhabitah Sabri can greet the new year with joy as she has qualified on merit for the first time for the FINA Diving World Series.

The 17-year-old, who won the hearts of millions of Malaysians at the Rio de Janeiro Olympics in August with her winsome smile and never-say-die attitude, will compete in the women’s 10m platform individual.
