PETALING JAYA: Captain Ivan Yuen failed to lead by example as Malaysia survived a scare in the 2-1 win over Taiwan in their opening men’s Group C match at the Asian Team Squash Championships in Taipei.

A day after being told to step up and be counted by national coach Ong Beng Hee, Ivan fared miserably as he went down 4-11, 9-11, 11-9, 11-8, 5-11 to world No. 90 James Huang in Wednesday’s second tie at the National Taiwan University.
