PETALING JAYA: Ramy Ashour again had to pull a rabbit out of the hat as he came from behind to beat Mohamed El Shorbagy in an all-Egyptian final at the Men’s World Championship to win his third world title.
Despite missing almost seven months of competitive action due to a nagging knee injury, the 27-year-old Ramy showed just why he is considered the most talented squash player ever after pulling off an extraordinary 13-11, 7-11, 5-11, 11-5, 14-12 win over world No. 1 Mohamed in Doha, Qatar on Friday.
