PETALING JAYA: Malaysia were the biggest victors in the Asian Junior Squash Championships in Kish Island, Iran.

Vanessa Raj led the way, ending Malaysia’s long wait for an Under-19 title by beating top seed Ho Tze Lok of Hong Kong 11-2, 11-7, 11-5 in the girls’ final. It was Malaysia’s first crown in the Under-19 categories – for boys and girls – since Low Wee Wern and Ivan Yuen emerged triumphant in 2009.
