(Reuters) - Tries to replacement lock Wimpie Van der Walt and winger Lomano Lemeki three minutes apart early in the second half was enough for Japan to ensure they beat Georgia 28-0 in terrible weather at Toyota Stadium on Saturday.

Flyhalf Yu Tamura kicked two penalties in the first half and added two conversions after the break, while fullback Ryuji Noguchi slotted a late penalty in the first spell as the home side went into halftime with a 9-0 lead.
