Penguin down DBKL to regain Cobra 10s crown

KUALA LUMPUR: Penguin International ruled supreme again, capturing their sixth Cobra 10s rugby title after beating DBKL Sports Club 27-21 in the final at the MBPJ Stadium.

Penguin, champions in 1993, 1994, 2006, 2010 and 2011, came into the tournament having lost to a South African development team in the final at the Singapore Cricket Club’s Sevens last weekend. But on Sunday, the English side were in uncompromising mood and deservedly took home the top prize money of US$10,000 (RM43,500) in the 45th edition of the tournament.
