(Reuters) - Winger DTH van der Merwe scored two tries as Canada booked their place at the 2019 Rugby World Cup in Japan with a 27-10 victory over Hong Kong in their final Repechage qualifier in Marseille, France on Friday.
Hooker Ray Barkwill scored Canada's other try as they finished the qualification tournament with three wins and 14 points, ahead of Germany (nine points), Hong Kong (five) and Kenya (zero).
