Water polo team stay in the hunt for a medal

THE Malaysian men’s water polo team stayed alive in the hunt for a SEA Games medal.

Yesterday, Malaysia needed a late goal by Tan Yi Xun to edge the Philippines 8-7 at the National Aquatic Centre in Bukit Jalil. It was Malaysia’s first win as they were narrowly beaten 4-3 by reigning silver medallists Indonesia on Tuesday.
