PETALING JAYA: Malaysia could only finish eighth in the men’s Asian Under-23 Volleyball Championship in Iran.
Represented by the Kuala Lumpur SEA Games squad, Malaysia managed just a win – beating Australia 3-1 (22-25, 25-19, 25-17, 25-22) in the three-team Group C match – to reach the quarter-finals in the 11-nation tournament.
