PETALING JAYA: Malaysia's Nor Hashimah Ismail has picked up the women's singles bronze medal at the lawn bowls World Cup.
The 45-year-old's bid to qualify for the final went up in smoke after New Zealand's Jo Edwards won the semi-final tie 10-2, 9-5 at the Warilla Bowls and Recreational Club in New South Wales, Australia on Tuesday.
Four-time World Cup Indoor champion Edwards will take on Guernsey's Lucy Beere in the women's singles final on Wednesday.
Beere had earlier defeated Australia's Natasha Scott 8-7, 9-5 in the other semi-finals.
Malaysia's Siti Zalina Ahmad last won the women's singles title in 2015.
Last year, she lost the crown to Norfolk Island's Carmen Anderson.
Meanwhile, Malaysia's Mohd Soufi Rusli will play 2008 World Outdoor singles champion Ali Forysth in the men's semi-final on Wednesday.
