PETALING JAYA: Youngsters S. Khavinraj and C. Shamalarani have shown that they are ready to step up onto the bigger stage following impressive performances in the Asian Karate Federation (AKF) Junior and Under-21 Championships in Makassar, Indonesia.
In the just-concluded championships, Khavinraj rose to the occasion to deliver the only gold for Malaysia in the boys’ junior kumite below 55kg category.
