PETALING JAYA: Australian Craig Alexander made amends for last year’s second-placed finish to win the Ironman 70.3 Putrajaya title.
The two-time world champion completed the 113km race – 1.9km swimming, 90km cycling and 21.1km running – in 3’55:36 for victory in his second attempt. Compatriot Josh Amberger clocked 3’59:05 to finish second.
