KUALA LUMPUR: Mohd Shahmil Mohd Saad provided a big cheer on the final day of the IPC Powerlifting World Cup by winning Malaysia’s first-ever silver in the men’s below 107kg class.
The 30-year-old, who was making his World Cup debut, lifted 196kg at the Grand Seasons Hotel here on Saturday to finish behind the winner Pavlos Mamalos.
