WELLINGTON: A William Ryder hat-trick and a Neumi Nanuku try in extra-time saw Fiji snatch a thrilling 27-22 win over South Africa in the final of the third leg of the IRB Sevens Series here yesterday.
The five tries to four win further strengthened Fiji’s position at the head of the table after they won the previous tournament in South Africa and were runners-up in the season opener at Dubai.
