DUISBURG (Germany): As expected, Malaysia's Choong Tan Fook-Lee Wan Wah failed to get the better of the world number one Kim Dong-moon-Ha Tae-kwon of South Korea, bringing the curtains down on Malaysia's challenge in the German Open badminton championships.
The duo went down tamely 7-15, 7-15 in the second round of the US$50,000 tournament at Rhein-Rhur Hall here on Thursday.
