Surprise, surprise: Malaysian rider Mohd Ramdan Mohd Rosli clinched his first Asian podium at Round 2 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Championship at the Bend Motorsport Park in Adelaide, Australia, yesterday.

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian rider Mohd Ramdan Mohd Rosli served up a surprise when he clinched his first Asian podium at Round 2 of the FIM Asia Road Racing Cham­pionship at the Bend Motorsport Park in Adelaide, Australia.

The Team Hong Leong Yamaha Malaysia rider finished third behind fellow marquee mates Yuki Ito of Japan and Ratthapong Wilairot of Thailand in the SuperSports 600cc Race 2 yesterday.
