PETALING JAYA: Muhd Idil Fitri Mahadi and Muhd Izam Ikmal – graduates of the Sepang International Circuit’s (SIC) Impian ke MotoGP programme – suffered a temporary setback in the opening round of the FIM CEV Moto3 Junior World Championship in Estoril, Portugal.
Both the SIC Racing Team riders encountered misfortunes in their first assignment in Europe with Izam’s weekend cut short by a finger injury after a bad crash in free practice on Friday while Idil sprained his foot in qualifying practice on Saturday.
