Espargaro to miss Malaysian round due to injury

MOTOGP rider Aleix Espargaro (pic) will miss the Shell Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix at Sepang this weekend following an injury suffered at the Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix in Phillip Island last Sunday.

The Spanish rider, who fell while battling in the lead group, suffered a fracture to the fourth finger on his left hand and will undergo surgery in Barcelona today.
