SEPANG: Motorsports fans turned up in droves to catch the final qualifying session of the Formula 1 Petronas Malaysia Grand Prix on Saturday.

Sepang International Circuit CEO Datuk Razlan Razali said some 27,000 spectators, the highest number recorded on a Saturday during race weekend, had attended the event.
