PETALING JAYA: The Jalur Gemilang was raised on Spanish soil as Hafizh Syahrin Abdullah rode a steady race to win the Moto2 European Championship at the Circuit de Albacete.

Hafizh, a wilcard entry, had a perfect start from pole yesterday and completed the 20-lap race in 31:13.926.
