PETALING JAYA: Malaysian racing driver Jazeman Jaafar has made history on his debut in the Blancpain Endurance Series race at the famed Monza circuit in Italy.

The 23-year-old driver, who joined HTP Motorsport this season, became the first Malaysian – and the first Asian driver – to stand on the podium for the race when he finished second after a closely-fought battle that lasted nearly two hours.
