SEPANG: Spaniard Jorge Lorenzo has drawn first blood in the world title skirmish with his Yamaha team-mate Valentino Rossi.
Lorenzo, riding under hazy conditions, jumped from sixth to first in the final 10 minutes to top the time sheets in 2:00.246 in the MotoGP free practice at the Shell Malaysian Motorcycle Grand Prix at the Sepang Circuit on Friday.
