PETALING JAYA: Japanese riders fired the first salvo on their home ground in the fourth round of the Petronas Asia Road Racing Championships (ARRC) at the Suzuka circuit.
In Friday’s free practice sessions, Yuki Ito of Petronas Hong Leong Yamaha clocked the fastest time of 2:15.030 in the SuperSports 600cc class. Katsuaki Fujiwara of BEET Kawasaki Racing was second fastest in 2:15.466.
