PETALING JAYA: Injury-prone Tracie Ang has decided to undergo hip surgery next month in a bid to salvage her hopes of competing at next year’s SEA Games in Singapore.
Since returning from a seven-month rehabilitation stint in February, the national elite gymnast has injured her back twice this year – in April and again in August during her balance beam routine in the team qualification event at the Glasgow Games – which effectively ruled her out of the ongoing Asian Games.
