FOLLOWING the celebration of its silver jubilee last year, the Carlsberg Golf Classic returns this season with plans to consolidate its position as one of the leading amateur tournaments in the country, and for good measure are offering more than RM2.6 mil in sponsorship value.
This year the Classic is scheduled to make no fewer than 37 stops at golf clubs across the nation, including Sabah and Sarawak, and will run from June 16 to September 14. There are also three open qualifying rounds, designed specifically for players other than club members.
