Green bags maiden Asian Tour crown

PETALING JAYA: National No.1 golfer Gavin Kyle Green has won his maiden Asian Tour title by capturing the Mercuries Taiwan Masters on Sunday.

The 23-year-old shot a final round of two-under 71 to finish on nine-under 279 at the Taiwan Golf and Country Club to win by two shots from four nearest challengers — Adilson Da Silva of Brazil, Scott Vincent of Zimbabwe, Keith Horne of South Africa and Juvic Pagunsan of the Philippines.
