Nicholas holds his nerve to clinch title in playoff

KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia’s Nicholas Fung showed nerves of steel in a three-way playoff with Gavin Kyle Green and Japan’s Masaru Takahashi to clinch the PGM UMW Championship.

The 26-year-old Nicholas rolled in an eight-foot birdie putt on the first extra hole at the TPC Kuala Lumpur yesterday to end his eight-month title drought – and extend his impressive PGM Tour win record to 16.
