Rain, rain won’t go away but Gavin stakes claim for title

PETALING JAYA: Heavy rain again brought proceedings at the PGM UMW Championship to an abrupt halt, but that did not stop national No. 1 Gavin Kyle Green from staking a claim for the title.

Although the 23-year-old could only complete nine holes in the rain-hit third round of the championship at the TPC Kuala Lumpur yesterday, it was enough for him to be two strokes ahead of the chasing pack.
