Sutijet denies Danny of PGM Palm win by a stroke

Danny Chia fired a second successive 64 and finished runner-up.

PETALING JAYA: Not even a superb final round score of eight-under 64 was enough to secure Danny Chia his first international title in seven months.

Thailand’s Sutijet Kooratanapisan stunned Danny – and the rest of the field – with an astonishing 12-under 60 to pip the Malaysian No. 1 by just one shot and win the weather-shortened PGM Palm Resort Championship.
