PETALING JAYA: Kelly Tan is still in the hunt for a second US LPGA Tour top-10 finish at the Coates Golf Championship in Florida.

The 22-year-old Malaysian passed her 27-hole marathon challenge on Friday reasonably well, leaving the Golden Ocala Golf & Equestrian Club on three-under par through 12 holes in the third round to be joint 18th – and four shots behind co-leaders Lydia Ko and Jang Ha-na.
