KUALA LUMUR: Japan’s Hideki Matsuyama played a bogey-free round but his five-under 67 was only good enough for a fifth place finish at the CIMB Classic.

The world No. 15 completed the four-day championship at the Kuala Lumpur Golf and Country Club with a 22-under 266 total - four strokes behind winner Justin Thomas of the United States.
