(Reuters) - Bernhard Langer, making the most of low-scoring conditions, eagled the par-four seventh on the way to a six-under-par 64 to take control of the Senior Players Championship in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Friday.

The 56-year-old German, seeking his third major title on the over-50s Champions Tour, also recorded five birdies and a lone bogey in the second round at Fox Chapel Golf Club as he posted an 11-under total of 129.
